SEVERAL “nasty looking” knives and Class B drugs have been recovered after a police foot chase in Boscombe.
Neighbourhood Policing Team officers on patrol in Boscombe attempted to speak to a male in the Windham Road area on Wednesday, April 6.
The male, who was on his pushbike, didn’t stop for officers and made off while discarding a rucksack.
After a short foot chase, officers detained the man and the found rucksack which was discovered to contain a knife along with a quantity of Class B drugs and cash.
Officers later searched the man’s address and found further weapons.
A Bournemouth Police spokesperson said: “A search of the male’s property revealed another two nasty looking weapons, which are thankfully now safe in our possession.
“Knives ruin lives. Please continue to report suspicious activity to us.”
