POLICE are investigating a spate of anti-social behaviour incidents in which a man was repeatedly ringing doorbells.

Officers in Ringwood have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with.

It was reported that a man has been seen to ring multiple doorbells repeatedly in the New Forest town over a two-day period between 3.40pm on Friday, April 1, and 7.10pm on Saturday, April 2.

Further reports were received, with the most recent just before midnight on Wednesday, April 6.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “These incidents have caused significant harassment, alarm and distress to residents.”

They added: “The Ringwood Neighbourhood Policing Team are committed to improving the quality of life for the local community and challenging unacceptable behaviour.

“There will be high visibility patrols to target areas with reports of anti-social behaviour and patterns of crime, to protect the public and bring those responsible to justice.”
