A HIGH-VALUE electric bicycle was stolen outside a shop in Sandbanks.

At around 1.45pm on Sunday, April 3, the victim locked his Moustache Game 10 e-bike with a set of other bicycles to a bike railing outside Fluid Surf Shop in Banks Road.

A few minutes later, they went to check on the bike and established the lock had been cut and the bike was missing.

It is described as black and gold, with 29-inch wheels, a medium frame and Fox Float forks.

The dashboard for the e-bike had been removed by the owner before he left it.

The offender is described as white, aged in his 30s, with a chubby face, stubble and medium-length blond hair poking out from underneath a hat he was wearing. He also wore a black jacket and dark-coloured trousers.

Police Constable Jody Durkin-Jones, of Dorset Police, said: “This bike cost the victim a lot of money and he is very keen to find it.

“There were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the theft or may have captured it on dashcam to please get in touch.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a similar bike being offered for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please contact Dorset Police.”
