A WOMAN sustained a fractured collar bone after being pushed to the ground by a man in Poole.

The woman aged in her 20s was injured during an altercation near the traffic lights and shops in Wimborne Road, Oakdale, sometime between 10pm and 11pm on March 22.

The incident was reported to Dorset Police on Friday, April 1.

Police said the victim and the man are said to be known to each other.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dashcam footage is being urged to contact police.

Detective Constable Holly Sexton, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area of the Oakdale traffic lights on Wimborne Road at the relevant time and witnessed this incident to please contact Dorset Police.

“I would also ask motorists who may have been travelling along that road at the time to please check their dashcam to see if they captured anything of relevance.”
