A CAR suspected to have been involved in “environmental crimes” in Dorset has been seized.
Dorset Council's Waste Enforcement Team confiscated a Ford Ranger, which included personal effects, at around 1.45pm on Thursday March 31.
The car’s registration is HV51 MFX and it was seized from Mulberry Court in St. Leonards, Ringwood.
A Dorset Council spokesperson said: “This vehicle is subject to a live investigation and is suspected to have been involved in environmental crimes within Dorset. It has now been seized pending that investigation by enforcement officers.”
It was seized under section 5 Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989.
A valid claim, fully supported by the documentation set out below, for the mentioned property must be made before April 26.
Documents required for a valid claim of entitlement:
- Proof of I.D. – valid photocard driving licence or passport
- Proof of address
- Vehicle Registration document for seized property
- Valid insurance
