Man caught at more than 30mph above speed limit in Poole
A MAN has received a court bill for speeding at more than 30mph above the speed limit.
Alexander Geoffrey Francis Allen, 21, of Widworthy Drive, Poole, admitted driving a Volkswagen on the A350 Holes Bay Road at 72mph on June 22, 2021.
The speed limit for the road is 40mph.
Appearing at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, March 30, Allen was fined and banned from driving.
Magistrates fined him £323 for the offence and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £34.
He was also ordered to pay £43 in costs.
The 21-year-old was disqualified from driving for six months.
