THE man who allegedly escaped custody in Bournemouth prompting a two-day manhunt has appeared at court.
Kyle Eglington, 32, of an unknown address, appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on March 30 charged with escaping lawful custody and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Eglington is charged with, on March 26, escaping lawful custody in Hardy Road, Poole.
He is also charged with assaulting two people in Hardy Road on the same date.
The case was sent to Bournemouth Crown Court to be heard on April 25, 2022.
The defendant was remanded in custody until the date of the next hearing.
