POLICE are concerned for the wellbeing of a “vulnerable” man from Poole who has gone missing.

Enquiries are ongoing to locate Michael Akerman, aged 30, who was last seen leaving Poole Hospital at around 12.20am on Wednesday March 30.

Michael is described as white, six feet tall and of medium build with a shaved head. He was wearing a green jumper, black trousers and black trainers and was carrying a large rucksack.

Chief Inspector Glen Doran, of Dorset Police, said: “Michael is a vulnerable man and we are concerned for his welfare. We are keen to locate him as soon as possible so we can ensure he is all right.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Michael if you see this – please make contact with us and let us know where you are as we just want to make sure you are OK.”
