A MAN who reportedly escaped from police custody in Poole is due to appear in court later today.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.13am on Saturday, March 26, relating to a man making off from a court prisoner transport vehicle in Hardy Road, Poole, having allegedly assaulted one of the security officers.
Following extensive enquiries, 32-year-old Kyle Eglington was arrested on the evening of Monday, March 28.
He has now been charged with escaping from lawful custody and assault occasioning actual bodily harm and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, March 30.
