A DATE has been set for the trial of two brothers accused of murdering a Hampshire fisherman.
Garon Jewell, 19, of Flushards, Lymington, and Draven Jewell, 21, of no fixed abode, both stand accused of murder, attempted murder and inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Neither defendant has entered pleas to the charges but their trial is due to begin at Winchester Crown Court on May 3.
They are accused of murdering father-of-one Max Maguire, 23,of Pennington, who suffered fatal stab wounds in an incident outside the Royal British Legion Club at Lymington High Street in October 2021.

The defendants are also accused of the attempted murder of Luke Gray and inflicting grievous bodily harm on Georgia Hole – known as Georgina Wort.
The funeral of Mr Maguire was held at St Thomas's Church, Lymington.
His sister, Blaise, called him the "kindest, funniest, amazing brother, son and father anyone could wish for", adding: "Life will never be the same without our beautiful Max."
