SOUTHBOURNE Coastguard attended to a drunk man trying to enter the sea at 4am this morning in Bournemouth.
The coastguard was tasked at 4.13am to assist the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust to a location near to Bournemouth Pier.
The services had had received a report of a person attempting to enter the sea while drunk.
Once at the scene with Poole Coastguard, news came through that the incident had been resolved with no further coastguard assistance required, so the team stood down and returned to station.
