FOUR people from the Bournemouth, Poole and east Dorset were dealt with for motoring offences at closed door court hearings on the same day.

The single justice procedure hearings were processed on Wednesday, March 23, at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court.

Laura Callie Baumber, 30 and of Thames Close, Ferndown, pleaded guilty to driving at 73mph in a BMW car on a 50mph stretch of the Dorset Way, Poole, on April 20, 2021. She was fined £80, ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs, and her driving record was endorsed with five points.

Natasha Anastasia Atherton, 47 and of Greenclose Lane, Wimborne, admitted driving a Land Rover on the B3078 Cranborne Road, Wimborne, on June 7, 2021, at a speed exceeding 30mph, namely 39mph. She was fined £76, ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs, and her driving record was endorsed with three points.

Trevor Bailey, 52 and of Frankland Crescent, Poole, submitted a guilty plea to driving a Mini car on the A35 near Miles Cross, Bridport, on June 13 last year at 76mph in the 50mph zone. The defendant was fined £120, ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs, and his driving record was endorsed with six points.

Sharon Beavis, 46 and of Denmark Road, Winton, pleaded guilty to driving a Peugeot car on the A338 Wessex Way at Dean Park, Bournemouth, on May 30, 2021, at a speed exceeding 40mph, namely 58mph. She was fined £293, along with an order to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs. Her driving record was endorsed with four points.
