A HOST of markets are taking place all over Dorset.
Whether you’re a bargain hunter, a foodie, someone with an eye for crafts or just like to browse an array of goods, there’s a market for just about everyone to choose from.
Here’s our round-up of what’s happening where and when.
South Coast Makers Market - Bournemouth
South Coast Markers Market is Bournemouth’s only independent, curated market and "champions hand-crafted, sustainable businesses".
It will be hosting a two-week Easter pop-up market at Bobby’s department store in Bournemouth.
The pop-up will take place between April 2 and 16 from 10am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday and 10.30am to 3.30pm on Sundays.
Jewellery, banners, candles and macrame will be just some of the items on sale.
A special retro night featuring DJs will be held on Saturday, April 9, with the market staying open until 8pm.
Entry is free and the event will be dog friendly.
Great British Street Market - Bournemouth
A 'Great British Street Market' takes place in Bournemouth town centre every Sunday between 10am and 4pm.
The market runs from Beale Place through to near McDonalds.
It features independent retailers and street food.
Stalls include leather belts, hat stalls, artisan bakeries and home-made fudge. The street food will be all over the world, from Brazil, to Thailand, to Greece to Malaysia.
Southern Market Traders - Ferndown and Christchurch
Southern Market Traders holds a number of markets across the south including Christchurch and Ferndown.
Christchurch market is held in the High Street (which is closed to traffic) on Mondays between 9am and 3pm.
Ferndown market is new and is held in Pennys Walk on Fridays between 9am and 2.30pm and has variety of stalls, including cheese, chocolate and leather.

Westbourne Farmers' and Makers Market
Westbourne market is held on the first Saturday of every month with the next taking place on April 2.
It is held in Landseer Road from 9am until 2pm.
Shoppers can pick up eggs, cheese, milk, meat, preserves, ready meals and fresh vegetables.
Boscombe
Boscombe market take place every Thursday and Saturday in the precinct in Christchurch Road.
It is open between 9am and 5pm on both days.
Visitors will be able to buy fruit and vegetables, fresh fish and meat, clothing, plants and more.
There is also a range of street food available.
Shaftesbury
Shaftesbury has been a market town for centuries, and today hosts a regular Charter Market Thursday.
Visitors can also enjoy a farmers’ market on the first Saturday of the month between 9am and 1pm in the Town Hall.
Plus, there are occasional book fairs, flea markets and French markets, too, as well as an annual food festival.
Wareham
A weekly market is held at the beautiful setting of Wareham Quay every Saturday from 8am.
Stalls include flowers, vegetables, fresh fish, BBQ meats, cheeses, preserves, collectables and more.
