A MAN from Bournemouth who was caught drink driving in Wales has been disqualified for four years.
Dylan Thomas Frank Coney-Lax, 28, was alleged to have driven a Ford Kuga in High Street, Cefn Coed, on March 4, with 110 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
This figure was more than three times the legal limit of 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Coney-Lax, whose address was given as Hayes Avenue, Bournemouth, pleaded guilty to drink driving when he appeared in the dock at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court on March 21.
The bench issued a 12-month community order with a requirement to take part in up to 10 rehabilitation activity days.
The defendant was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 48 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay a £95 surcharge and £85 costs.
