The annual Dorset Neon Run will be making a return to Poole Park next month.

In aid of Dorset’s disability charity Diverse Abilities, a five-kilometre fun run will be held on Saturday, April 23.

Diverse Abilities is the only charity in Dorset that supports adults, and their families, with physical and learning disabilities.

Lucy Rowley, events coordinator at Diverse Abilities, said: “Dorset Neon Run is a fun event that isn’t time chipped so allows everyone involved to complete it at their own pace.

“We are looking forward to a day of fundraising in the heart of our community.”

Entries to sign up have now opened with each ticket costing £15 per person.

Participants between the ages of 12 and 16 have been asked to be accompanied by an adult as the registration for the main event opens at 7pm.

Those taking part can complete the race in any way they want from running and walking to dancing and jogging around the vibrant fundraiser.

Earlier in the day there will be a family-focused event for groups to join and run two kilometres.
