A ROAD in Bournemouth town centre was closed on Sunday night following a report of a person on a hotel roof.
Police were called to the Hilton Hotel in Terrace Road at 6.30pm.
Officers attended and closed the road at Exeter Crescent.
Following enquiries, no one was found on the roof.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a report at 6.30pm on Sunday 20 March 2022 of a person on the roof of the Hilton in Terrace Road in Bournemouth.
“The road was closed at Exeter Crescent. Officers attended and carried out enquiries at the address, but nobody was located on the roof.
“The road closures were lifted at around 7pm.”
