LULWORTH Estate is calling for volunteers to help with two beach cleans as part of this spring’s Great Dorset Beach Clean.
The beach cleans will be taking place on April 2, with volunteers welcome at either Lulworth Cove, between 11am and12pm, or Durdle Door, between 1pm and 3pm.
To monitor numbers, organisers have requested that those wanting to help email rangers@lulworth.com ahead of the event. The email should include your preferred site and car registration so a parking pass can be sorted.
The Great Dorset Beach Clean is a campaign that hopes to make Dorset beaches litter free.
Beach cleans will also be carried out in Christchurch, Studland, Weymouth, Seatown, Lyme Regis, Bournemouth, Kimmeridge, Worth Matravers and Charmouth.
The Litter Free Dorset website reads: “We can all help to keep our streets, towns and beaches clean from litter and safe for everyone.”
For more information about dates and timings, visit https://www.litterfreedorset.co.uk/ or the Litter Free Dorset Facebook page.
