A mega slip and slide will be opened in Dorset this summer, welcoming thrill seekers to a ‘watery adventure’.

The 110-metre-long slide will be set up on a hill near Wimborne for the whole of August, with visitors paying for an hour of unlimited slides.

Organiser Nigel McAlwane said: “Who wouldn’t want to go on a 110m long slip and slide? When do you get the chance to do that?

“The Dorset site is a natural hill so you can ride the whole length of it.”

There will be inflatables to make the experience even more exciting, as well as an onsite café selling drinks, ice cream and light bites.

Nigel added: “I’ve already tried it and I’m in tears every time I do it because it’s just hilarious.

“It’s going to be awesome.”

The mega slip and slide can be found in the ‘slip and slide field’ in Corfe Mullen, Wimborne, BH21 3RH.
