POLICE have confirmed they are satisfied there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a man died at an address in Bournemouth.

Officers cordoned off an address in Malmesbury Park Road in Charminster after an “unexplained death” was reported at 8.20pm on Sunday, March 13.

Police were investigating the death and the cordoned remained in place on Thursday.

Providing an update on Friday morning, a Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Following enquiries by detectives and an initial post mortem examination, officers are satisfied that there are no suspicious circumstances or evidence of third party involvement in this death.

“The man’s family have been updated and we are continuing to carry out enquiries on behalf of the coroner.”
