TWO people still remain under investigation more than three months after a fatal crash which initially saw ten people arrested.

Mother-of-one Courtney White, 23, from Poole, died after being struck by a vehicle on the A3049 Canford Way on the evening of December 12.

Dorset Police made ten arrests following her death but have since released eight people without charge.

Two people, an 18-year-old man from Poole and a 19-year-old man, also from Poole, were released under investigation.

Providing an update, a Dorset Police spokesperson said: “The arrested pair are still released under investigation for this one and no charges have been brought at this stage. The investigation is ongoing.”

Ms White had a three-year-old daughter, Evie, and seven siblings.

Family and friends packed out St Clement's Church in Parkstone for her funeral on January 20.

Hundreds of people gathered outside the church as the cortege and trucks carrying huge floral tributes arrived.

After the service, mourners gathered at the side of the Canford Way as police closed the road and some family members laid flowers.

Her father Joseph White told the Daily Echo ahead of the funeral: "She was my first born and the first thing I ever loved. I loved the ground she walked on.

"I still don't feel like it's real. She was just special."

Her sister Alice previously paid tribute saying "she made our family whole, she made us our best selves".
