TWO men have been reported acting in an aggressive manner and being verbally abusive towards staff at a Dorset petrol station.

Police officers investigating the public order incident, which took place in Shaftesbury on Tuesday, March 15, are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesman for the force said: "Dorset Police received a report at 5.01pm on Tuesday March 15 of a disturbance at a petrol station at Ivy Cross.

"It was reported that two men had been acting in an aggressive manner and were verbally abusive toward staff."

Police officers did attend, as details were taken for the individuals involved and the two men left the scene.

Police Constable Nicholas Hunter, of North Dorset police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I understand there were a number of other members of the public present who may have witnessed what happened.

“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please get in touch.”
