POLICE have cordoned off a property in Bournemouth following the death of a man which is being treated as “unexplained”.
A man aged in his 50s died at an address in Malmesbury Park Road in Charminster.
It was reported to police at 8.20pm on Sunday, March 13.
The ambulance service was in attendance and the coroner was notified.
The man’s family has been informed.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Further enquiries are being carried out to establish the circumstances of the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.
“A cordon has been put in place at the address as these enquiries are carried out.”
The spokesperson added: “The man’s family has been informed and our thoughts are with them at this time.”
The property remained cordoned off as of Wednesday morning with forensic officers on the scene.
