“POSITIVE action” has been taken by police after a woman was nearly struck by a vehicle entering a road via a no entry sign.
Officers from East Dorset Police attended East Borough after reporting of vehicles entering through the no entry.
A spokesperson said: “After several reports of vehicles entering East Borough via a no entry road sign, including an incident where an elderly resident was almost struck by one of these vehicles.
“Wimborne NPT were out today, and positive action was taken.”
