A MAN had to be assisted by firefighters in Bournemouth after getting his hand trapped while sitting in his car.
A crew from Springbourne was called to the incident at 2.17pm in Lowther Road, Charminster, on Monday, March 14.
The fire service reported that the man's hand had got stuck between the car seat and the central console.
Firefighters managed to use the electric seat mechanism to free him.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A crew from Springbourne have assisted one adult male whose hand was trapped between the seat of his car and the central console, outside a domestic property in Lowther Road.
"Crews released his hand using the electric seat mechanism."
