A WOMAN has been fined for travelling more than 20mph above the legal limit.
Rebecca Julia Kemish was proved by single justice procedure to have broken the 30mph limit on the A35 Barrack Road, Christchurch on June 21, 2021.
The 25-year-old, of Geoffrey Close, Poole, was not present at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on March 3, 2022, when she was fined by the bench.
Court papers state she was caught at 52mph in a BMW.
Magistrates fined her £600 and ordered her to pay a victim surcharge of £66.
She was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and had her driving record endorsed with six points.
In total, she will have to pay the court £811 for the offence.
