MOREBUS has warned it won’t be able to serve stops between Canford Bottom Roundabout and Ferndown Industrial Estate as Wimborne Road West is set to close.
A temporary lane closure will be in place eastbound on Wimborne Road West from the Canford Bottom Roundabout, starting on March 7 and ending on March 25.
The closure will allow for work on a new cycle, walking and bus infrastructure improvements on Wimborne Road.
A spokesperson for Morebus said: “Due to Dorset Council undertaking road remodelling works, we will be unable to serve the stops between Canford Bottom Roundabout and Ferndown Industrial Estate towards Bournemouth. This will primarily affect the 13, but will also affect the 704, 769, C13, and Q2.
This diversion will begin from the first bus on Monday March 7, and will end at 6pm on Friday March 25.
“Buses will divert via the A31 and through the Ferndown Industrial Estate, where they will stop at all stops through the estate.
“We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause to your travel.”
