POLICE have warned that they may seize motorbikes following reports of “antisocial” riders.
Officers in Christchurch say will be patrolling Mudeford Wood on foot after receiving reports of incidents in the area.
Christchurch Police said the wood will be checked where possible over the coming weeks.
They warned anyone who is found to be riding a motorcycle through the woods will be “dealt with appropriately”.
In a post on social media on Wednesday, March 2, a spokesperson said: “Following reports of the antisocial riding of motorcycles through Mudeford Wood, Christchurch Officers have been patrolling the area on foot.
"Nothing was seen or heard today, and the woods will be checked where possible over the coming weeks."
The spokesperson added: “Where an individual is found to be riding a motorcycle through the woods, they will be dealt with appropriately which may include, but is not limited to, seizure of the vehicle.”
