A RINGWOOD woman has received a hefty court bill for going five miles per hour above the limit.
Jane Margaret Manners, 57, of Eastfield Lane, Ringwood, pleaded guilty to speeding in Westminster on July 26, 2021.
The defendant was not present when she was sentenced at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court.
She admitted driving a Ford on the A3212 Millbank, exceeding the limit of 20mph.
Court papers indicate she was caught by a RedSpeed Speedcurb camera at 25mph.
Magistrates fined the defendant £267 and ordered her to pay a victim surcharge of £34.
She was also ordered to pay costs of £90 and had her driving record endorsed with three points.
