The Bournemouth International Centre's swimming pool is one of the many old attractions in Bournemouth which have closed that our readers really miss.

The indoor pool with an artificial wave machine was opened in 1984 and in 1986 a hydro-slide was officially opened by Olympic swimmer Duncan Goodhew.

Unfortunately due to the centres need to expand the swimming pool was closed and in 2004 redevelopment took place which included a larger Windsor Hall and extra exhibition space with the Solent Hall standing in its place.

Do you remember the BIC swimming pool?
