IN CELEBRATION of National Pubs Week, The Good Beer Guide has revealed the best pubs and clubs across Dorset.

The county is spoilt for choice with great pubs across our coastal towns and into the countryside - 66 of which have been named by CAMRA in their celebration.

All Hail Ale in Queens Road, Westbourne, has been listed on The Good Beer Guide for the fourth year in a row. Owner Peter Hector said: “It’s fantastic!

“It’s always nice to be listed in something that a lot of people follow especially as times have been quite tough.

“I know that a lot of CAMRA members won’t drink anything but cask and we still got in the top 10 for Bournemouth and the fact we’re still in The Good Beer Guide for the fourth year in a row is absolutely brilliant.

“I couldn’t wish for a better response from them really.”

Offering a range of cask ales, draughts, cider and craft can and bottles the White Hart Alehouse in Sturminster Newton has also been included on CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide.

Landlord of the White Hart Alehouse, Matt Clark, said: “It’s the main focal point of our business, we do stick to real ales and we’ve got into The Good Beer Guide within our first year of being here.

“It makes a big difference having good beer on, it’s something people can’t get as much.”
