Snow was spotted falling at Corfe Castle on Thursday.
The flakes were spotted around 1.45pm, as temperatures across the county plummeted.
Other areas of Dorset have seen short sharp hail showers, while some places have experienced only rain.
Weather enthusiast, Dorset Snow said in one Dorset location, the temperature had dropped from 7.5C to 4.5C in seconds.

Many people reported 'graupel' which is small particles of snow with a fragile crust of ice or soft hail.

The weather is set to feel cold but sunny for the next few days around Dorset, with showers returning on Monday.
