IT IS great news that plans are afoot to revitalise two of Bournemouth seafront locations at Sandbanks and Branksome Chine.
Bournemouth’s coastline which is one of the best in Europe is a year round magnet for visitors and should be where future investment takes place.
Not only for upmarket and niche eating venues but also for entertainment venues and bars.
Urban Reef on the Boscombe seafront is a perfect example of an all round successful bar.
A fashionable eating and drinking venue which also has a DJ deck for alfresco dining and dancing on the prom, it is a great atmosphere and has a Miami vibe.
With the retail sector in the town suffering knocks especially in the wake of Covid lockdowns it’s time for Bournemouth to play to its strength namely its stunning coastline.
Revitalising it is a wonderful idea.
