THESE seven animals are looking for their forever homes – can you help?

Dorset-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find permanent homes for goats, dogs, cats and Guinea pigs in its care.

All the details can be found below.

Bournemouth Echo:

Chesil is a very sweet, 18 month old, rough coated Lurcher. She is looking for an adult-only home in a quieter, rural area, with people who will have time to help her grow in confidence and will be able to visit her multiple times at the centre, so she can get to know and trust them. She could live with male dogs in a home without cats or small animals.

Bournemouth Echo:

Teddy is a greyhound who is nearly four-years-old. He is an affectionate boy and he has a very waggy tail when he gets excited! He absolutely loves food and lounging around having a good snooze. He walks nicely on the lead and enjoys his walks. He would be happy living with a female sighthound and older children, but he would be best suited to a home without cats.

Bournemouth Echo:

Romeo is a four-year-old greyhound. He can be a little shy at first, but this soon subsides and he really enjoys being pampered and having cuddles. He enjoys his treats and he is very gentle when he takes them from you. He would be happy living with slightly older children and a fellow Sighthound, but he is looking for a home without cats and small furries.

Bournemouth Echo:

Lenny is 12-years-old and looking for a forever home with his sister, Lilac. They are both very timid cats, but Lilac is braver than Lenny and she has already made friends with some of the staff here. Their new owner will need to be patient and understanding, as they will need time to settle in. They are looking for a quiet home with no other pets or children.

Bournemouth Echo:

Casper is five-years-old and looking for a home where he will be a companion to another goat. He is a very active and playful lad, who will need a lot of space and things to do to occupy his time. He will need high fencing in his new home, as he has long legs and can jump easily.

Bournemouth Echo:

Kristoff is looking for a forever home with his friend, Sully. They are both young males who are under a year old. Sully is a little bit more confident than Kristoff, but they are both really chatty and once they get to know you, they are very friendly.
