NO arrests have been made following an assault in Boscombe in which a man sustained a head injury and was left outside a college overnight.

The man aged in his 30s was found with injuries outside the AECC University College in Parkwood Road at 7.44am on Tuesday, February 15.

Police believe the man had been left at the scene after being assaulted at around 10.30pm Monday night.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “The man’s condition is not believed to be life-threatening, no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.

“There is no further update at this time.”

A heavy police presence could be seen in Parkwood Road on Tuesday morning with various roads and properties cordoned off along with a car parked outside Corpus Christi Parish Centre.

Access to St James’s Square next to the was closed off and a forensic officer was spotted investigating various spaces in and around the area.
