HAVING fun in the office is one of the keys to delivering great customer service.

That's the confirmed view of brothers Iain and Paul Williams, founders and joint chief executives of Quick Car Finance.

And one look at the number and quality of Google reviews the business has attracted would seem to suggest they are right.

"We are very proud about what we do and how we do it. We get a huge number of referrals and has been one the big reasons behind our growth" said Iain. "We take care to build long term relationships with our customers and that is absolutely central."

The business is based in the Echo building on Richmond Hill in what was the old newsroom.

There is a relaxed but professional atmosphere and alongside the banks of work screens, the fun side of things includes a pool table, basketball table, sofas and dogs in the office.

"Our team members really enjoy being here and their energy translates to how the deal with our clients on the phone," said Paul, 42. "I can't wait to get out of bed in the morning and come to work."

For many people, buying a car is stressful and the company provides reassurance.

But it doesn't just arrange the finance. If required advisers check out the dealership, the history of the car being purchased and look for better and more cost effective alternatives.

"On many occasions we will recommend clients not to proceed with the purchase if we don't think it is in their best interests," said Iain, 40.

"We really can help people every step of the way on something that is vital for them and quite possibly the second biggest purchase they will make, after their home."

The business is growing. Iain and Paul are looking to recruit around 25 new for Bournemouth consultants and have just opened an office in Manchester.

There are other expansion plans.

And their successful brand has come despite them both being dyslexic.

"I like people to know that because it shows we can all overcome obstacles to achieve things," said Paul, who served with the Royal Signals.
