A MAN was reportedly left outside a college overnight having sustained a head injury following an assault in Boscombe.
Dorset Police received a report at 7.44am on Tuesday, February 15, that a man had been found with injuries outside the AECC University College in Parkwood Road.
The man – aged in his 30s – has sustained a head injury and is being taken to hospital for treatment.

Police believe the man was assaulted late on Monday night and had been left injured outside the college until Tuesday morning.
There was a heavy police presence in Parkwood Road this morning with various roads and properties cordoned off in apparent connection with the incident.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Stefanie Belton, of Bournemouth CID, said: “A full investigation is underway to establish how the man sustained his injuries.
“Following initial enquiries, we believe the man was assaulted and has been outside the college since around 10.30pm on Monday February 14 with injuries.
“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.
“If you have any information that may help us understand how the man became injured, please contact Dorset Police immediately.
“Local officers will be carrying out high visibility patrols in the area and can be approached by anyone in the community with any information or concerns.”
Professor Lesley Haig, vice-chancellor of AECC University College, said: “The incident, which happened offsite, did not involve any of our students and staff. We are a small, supportive community and we are offering counselling and support to both students and staff who are affected.
"We are working closely with the Dorset Police to support them in their investigation.”
Access to the nearby St James’s Square next to the Corpus Christi Parish Centre was closed off and a forensic officer was spotted investigation various spaces in and around the residential area.
A property housing flats opposite the church was also cordoned off. The Daily Echo spoke to two residents who only came to learn of the incident when leaving to go to work.
One resident said: “We only came to know this happened as we stepped out from the door. As we came out we saw everything blocked.
“We didn’t hear any sound, absolutely no sound but we came out to the front being taped over.
“We were getting ready to send our son to school and about to go to work, then we came out and didn’t expect any of this. We have absolutely no clue what happened, but I’m just so shocked because we didn’t hear a thing.”
St James’s Square resident Wayne Cary was similarly unaware of any incident until hearing police sirens shortly after 9am.
