A POST office in Boscombe will be closed for two days a week due to “staffing issues”.
The Post Office in the Royal Arcade in Boscombe is currently closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
One resident said: "There is growing anger in Boscombe that the Post Office situated in the Royal Arcade is always closed on Friday and Saturday and this has been ongoing for weeks.
"On the front door is a hand written note with 'due to unforeseen circumstances' and then telling people when they will reopen which would be Monday. This notice too is not fresh but has been there sometime."
A spokesperson for the Post Office said: "Boscombe Precinct is experiencing staffing issues and the branch is currently closed on Fridays and Saturdays. A poster has been sent to the branch to advise customers.
"A full-time service will be restored as soon as possible. We apologised for any inconvenience caused. In the interim alternative branches include Boscombe East, Southgrove Grove and Malmesbury Park.”
