A MAN stole multiple turkey crowns from a Poole Marks and Spencer store in the run up to Christmas.
Ryan Anthony Velkoop was accused of stealing the poultry worth a total of £327 from the M&S foodhall in Lower Blandford Road, Broadstone, on December 9 last year.
Velkoop, 28 and of Cynthia Road, Poole, pleaded guilty to a single count of theft when he appeared in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court on February 7, 2022.
District Judge Stephen Nicholls issued the defendant with a six-month conditional discharge.
The offender was ordered to pay £327 compensation to M&S.
