WHAT would you miss most if you moved away from Dorset?

Or have you left our beautiful county behind for pastures new and still miss it?

We invited readers on the Bournemouth Echo Facebook page to tell us what they would miss most about the area and almost 200 people responded, including expats who have shared their memories of the place they once called home.

Here is just a selection of the responses.

3. Love Dorset, we moved to Australia. We miss the English countryside and the beaches. Places like Weymouth seafront, Bournemouth beaches, Poole Quay, Christchurch, The New Forest and more. Having everything in close proximity. We are now having to travel hours just to do things. But the downside is the cost of daily life in the UK.
