A WIMBORNE man has been fined by the courts for speeding on a motorway in Birmingham.

Stephen James Bradshaw, 66, of Cranfield Avenue, Wimborne, pleaded guilty to exceeding the variable speed limit on the M6.

He was sentenced at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, February 3.

Bradshaw admitted driving a Citroen on June 2, 2020, at the speed of 60mph through junction seven and eight of the M6, where the temporary speed limit was 50mph.

Magistrates fined him £66, ordered him to pay a £34 victim surcharge and costs of £50.

He also had his driving record endorsed with three points.
