POLICE are looking into a 'rogue trader' incident after elderly victims collectively lost "thousands of pounds" for “substandard” work.
The incident happened during the afternoon on Friday February 4 in Ringwood Road, Verwood.
Officers are looking for the whereabouts of a maroon tipper truck which was parked near the junction of Black Hill or on any driveways close by.
It is believed the 'rogue traders' are advertising themselves are gardeners or green waste disposal workers.
Police are urging any witnesses to come forward. If you have any information relating to the incident, contact Dorset Police on 101.
