TRAFFIC officers issued two fixed penalties to drivers earlier this week who were being monitored by police under two separations operations.
A black BMW, an Operation Dragoon, was pulled over by officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team.
Operation Dragoon is a county wide project that aims to take high and medium risk drivers who fail to modify their driving behaviour off the road.
The motorist was found to have a revoked driving licence, so he received a fixed penalty, and his car was seized.
The driver of a blue food, also on the police’s radar, had failed to act on the letters sent to them asking them to get their vehicle insured.
Operation Tutelage is a national policing initiative working to reduce the levels of uninsured driving on our roads.
The car owner was issued a fixed penalty after admitting to having no insurance and their vehicle was also seized.
