A BOURNEMOUTH man who was found with cocaine in Salisbury has been fined by the courts.
Demitri Bessems, 36, of St Peter’s Road, Bournemouth, pleased guilty to possessing cocaine and possessing cannabis.
He was sentenced at South East Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 31.
It was alleged that on May 28, 2021, Bessems had cocaine and cannabis while in Salisbury.
Magistrates fined him £230 for the cocaine, and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £34.
He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and the drugs were to be forfeited. No separate penalty was imposed for the cannabis.
