A POPULAR restaurant in Southbourne has temporarily closed its doors.
Makla announced the three-week closure last week as the owners will be refurbishing the kitchen.
The Middle Eastern restaurant in Seaborne Road, Southbourne, said on Instagram: "Hopefully this will allow us to continue our takeaway service even on busy restaurant nights."
In a post on its Facebook, the Moroccan and Lebanese eatery said: "See you soon! For any reservation queries after February 8 message us through social media or our website."
An independent, family-owned business Makla first opened its doors in 2018 and has since gone on to become a foodie-favourite - rated as the fifth best restaurant in Bournemouth on TripAdvisor.
