A BOURNEMOUTH man has been ordered to pay more than £2,000 for breaking Covid lockdown rules.
Lukasz Tacij, aged 27 and of Charminster Road, was alleged to have taken part in a gathering at a flat in Christchurch Road, Boscombe, on January 24 last year.
The case was dealt with at Weymouth Magistrates' Court in a single justice procedure hearing held behind closed doors on Tuesday, January 11.
The allegation against Tacij was proved, with him not present in court and having not entered a plea.
A magistrate issued a £1,760 fine for the breach of the coronavirus rules.
Tacij was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a surcharge of £176, making a total financial bill of £2,021.
