DORSET Police have issued a plea for residents' help in the search for a missing man said to have been 'very upset' recently.
Officers searching for a missing man in the Purbeck area are making a public appeal for information to help find him.
Colin Lovett, aged 52, was reported missing having left his home address in Langton Matravers some time between 2pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday January 19. It is believed he left the address on foot.

Colin is described as white, five feet nine inches tall and of stocky build with a shaved head and tattoos on his calf. He is believed to have been wearing a dark blue Ellesse hooded top, shorts and blue trainers with green markings.
Chief Inspector Stuart Pitman, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Colin has been very upset recently so we are keen to locate him and ensure that he is all right.
“We are carrying out searches in the Purbeck area and I would urge anyone with information as to Colin’s whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.
“I would also like to make a direct appeal to Colin if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we just want to make sure that you are safe.”
