A MAN has admitted causing the death of another man in a crash in Wool.
Stephen Sheppard, 41, of Redhill Drive, Bournemouth, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving, relating to a crash on the A352 in Wool on July 5, 2020, at a hearing at Bournemouth Crown Court on Tuesday.
Sheppard admitted causing the death of Warren Wright, aged in his 30s, from London, in the incident which also saw four other people taken to hospital.
The hearing was adjourned for a sentencing hearing at the same court on February 7.
Judge Brian Forster QC disqualified the defendant from driving and released him on bail.
Dorset Police was called at 5.35pm on July 5, 2020, to a report of a collision on the A352 between the Woolbridge Roundabout and Wool train station.
The crash involved a black Land Rover Defender towing a caravan, a grey Hyundai Tucson and a Ford Fiesta. Sheppard was driving the Hyundai.
Road closures were put in place to allow the emergency services to respond to the incident and for an examination of the scene to take place.
