EMERGENCY services attended Pokesdown Railway Station over a concern for welfare incident.
Officers from British Transport Police and Dorset Police, along with paramedics, were called to the station in Christchurch Road shortly before 2pm on Sunday, January 17.
A British Transport Police spokeswoman said: "British Transport Police were called to Pokesdown station at 1.58pm on January 16 following reports of concern for the welfare of a man.
"Officers and paramedics attended, and the man was taken to hospital for assessment."
