A TEENAGER has been arrested following a burglary and an assault of an emergency worker.
Police received a report of a burglary at a business premises in Southampton Road, Ringwood, between 9pm and 9.45pm on January 9
Entry had been gained to the premises via a smashed window and a quantity of cash was stolen.
CCTV operators located a person acting suspiciously in the local vicinity and upon police attendance was detained.
Upon being searched, officers seized a quantity of cash and a number of tools including a screwdriver and a utility knife.
A 15-year-old boy from Fordingbridge was arrested on suspicion of burglary and assaulting an emergency worker.
He remains in custody at this time.
