A SECOND boy has been arrested by detectives conducting a murder investigation after a man died at an address in Christchurch.

Officers have been carrying out an extensive probe following the death of 35-year-old Edward Reeve.

Mr Reeve's body was found by police at 6 Heath Road, Walkford, after officers received a report at 7.53pm on Tuesday, January 4, raising concern for the welfare of the occupant.

Providing an update on the evening of Friday, January 7, a Dorset Police spokeswoman said detectives have now made a further arrest.

A 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The spokeswoman said a 16-year-old Christchurch boy, previously arrested on suspicion of murder, is still assisting officers with enquiries.

All appeals for information, images and footage still remain in place, the force said.
